Caserta Italy
Caserta is known as the Versailles of Naples due to the Royal Palace built in the 18th century by Charles Bourbon.
The Palace has 1200 rooms rich with frescoes steeped in history. It is considered one of the most sumptuous in Italy.
The Palace is surrounded by 5000 metres of wonderful gardens with a cascading fountain of 75 metres highlighting the surroundings.
Cassino Italy
A stop at Cassino is almost obligatory due to the famous Abbey, founded in 529 by Saint Benedict of Norcia. The Abbey was destroyed during the Second World War but has since been completely rebuilt returning it to its original splendour.
